Hot on the heels of the revelation of the last Mystery Photo; uncovering the Festival balloon - and a new community garden - in Oxford Street, Newtown; comes this week's challenge.
Where, in very urban Newtown, is this distinctly rural looking door ?
Even though DarkStarDeity identified the door in about 20 minutes; I've temporarily removed the answer to give others a chance at finding this door as I was hoping this was a little harder than past mystery photos !
@Anonymous - Not there either - though Original Finish is in a great building. Not sure why they needed to re-do their doors as they did recently; they look too new now.
@smacky-wolf: Yeah, I'm surprised no-one else picked it up either. I realised that I'd wrongly called it The Shed in my original post, I was waiting for the revelation to correct myself.
That building has the weirdest interior aspects too - not one of the corners or angles is square, and the floor slopes in at least three different directions (at least in the bit I've seen). It's like the room from the HP Lovecraft story Dreams In The Witch-House.
No, it's private property. Well, actually, private properties - it extends over at least 2, maybe 3, properties, and has been divided accordingly. People live in at least one section of it. The name The Shack was coined by one of the previous residents, and stuck.
