There is a for sale sign above the corner block that houses Alfalfa House (Enmore Road and Philip Street). No doubt the block is "ripe for development" as they say. Have lived in the area a very long time but I'll admit to being rather lukewarm about Alfalfa House. The idea of the co-op is good, and the produce is fine, however the people who run it/person it are always so bloody rude and surly (but oh so fashionably inner west earnest) that whenever I go in there I usually walk out empty handed.

Rotunda Teardown was a few days late, but was happening this morning (fri aug 27) should be gone by mid-afternoon by the looks of it.

There's a DA notice on the townie, overview has reconfiguration of the gaming area, and opening up of the roof. A little vague, assume there's more details elsewhere.

The Green Lounge on Enmore Rad apeears to be clolser to completion. It must have something to do with the lease, but they are maintaining the old brown metal TAB doors and the tubular steel handrails just in side. Not exactly a welcoming entrance.
